So how about the Kamloops Beer Festival? That’s right Brew Loops is on its way September 24-27th. Expect unique casks, education sessions, music and a tonne of fun! Most of it will be happening just a hop skip and a jump from the Thompson Hotel so check out brewloopsfest.ca for more information.

For a unique experience, check out Tranquille Tunnel Tours at the old Tranquille Sanatorium. Built in 1907 to treat tuberculosis and later used to treat the mentally ill the sanatorium was permanently closed in the 80’s. Chat with some of the locals and you’ll get some good ghost stories, Creepy Canada even paid it a visit. Now the Folks at Tranquille Farm Fresh put on wonderful Tours & Plays that reflect on the history. This years Tour “Crossroads” runs from September 11 – November 1st Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
